This is the dated record of selected Imago product and website changes. Product releases and marketing-site updates are labelled separately. Imago remains a personal budgeting app with CSV imports, financial data stored on your device and a one-time licence.
: website analytics consent
Website update. Marketing-site analytics now use region-scoped consent defaults. Analytics storage stays denied in the EEA, UK, Switzerland and Quebec; advertising storage is denied everywhere. The privacy policy explains the providers. The budgeting app still has no analytics.
: budgeting app comparisons
Website update. Published the comparison hub and individual comparisons with YNAB, Monarch Money, Copilot Money and Actual Budget, including reasons another app may be a better fit.
: web app launch
Product launch. Imago launched as an installable web app at app.imago.money, with a free 7-day trial and a $49 USD one-time licence. The app stores your financial data on your device. Start with the getting-started guide.
